Current Status


What’s Been Done Already…

1)  We’ve assembled an “all-star buskers” cast of 24 of New York
City’s finest street performers and have taped interviews/story-
sharing sessions with each one.

2) We've been in the process of assembling a world-class creative
team and, as of now, have our: Choreographer; Composer and
Music Director, Associate Director/Dramaturge; and Set Designer.

3)  We have a script-writing team in place: Wendy Sayvez,
Nicola Vazquez, Paul Mueller, and Jeanette Palmer, and we
are well into the process of shaping the most compelling raw
material from our buskers’ taped stories into a script.

4) Almost half of the songs are already written as many
of our 24 buskers are wonderful song-writers and have
existing material that fits perfectly into the show.

What We’re Doing Now…


1)  Writing the script, songs, music, lyrics.

2)  Networking to secure a lead-producer, a director and and an
off-Broadway theater to workshop the show
(we dream of the Public Theater!)…

3)  Raising front-money.

1)  Backers Auditions in January, 2011

2)  Off-Broadway Workshop Production, in late
Spring/early Summer, 2011

3)  Broadway Production Opening in the Fall of 2011
