“Light in the Tunnel” is a new original Broadway bound musical
about the magical love affair between street performers
(a.k.a “buskers”) and their audience of passers-by in the
subway stations beneath New York City.
Created by veteran New York City subway performer,
folk singer/guitarist Wendy Sayvetz,
“Light in the Tunnel” features an ensemble cast
of the city’s finest street/subway performers.
We are currently raising funds with an online

A WNBC News 4 TV news segment on guitarist Andrew Schulman has won two prestigious journalism and broadcasting awards -
Schulman is the Resident Visiting Artist at the Louis Armstrong Center for Music & Medicine in New York City
The segment featuring Schulman playing guitar in the Beth Israel Medical Center - Surgical Intensive Care Unit - has won a NY Emmy in the Human Interest category and first place in the 48 Hour feature category of the Best of PhotoJournalism competition organized by the National Press Photographers Association
Wendy Sayvetz is creator and
