The Abaca String Band's debut album,

represent not only what we sound like, but also gives the listener an idea
of the broad range of repertoire that we perform.
The variety of composers and styles is always connected by the commentary
from the stage and by the consistency of the instrumentation.

'Track 39-Wendy
and the Lost Boys' was recorded live in a Scarsdale church for
zoomTone Records. Wendy is joined by her husband Andrew Schulman on acoustic
guitar and her producer and mentor Sam Parkins on clarinet, performing a
mix of original songs and classics from all over the musical spectrum.

is a mix of traditional, and popular folk songs and musical theater classics.
Wendy accompanies herself on the guitar joined by her guitarist and music
director, Kevin Kuhn (lead guitarist in "The Secret Garden", "Tommy", and
currently "The Lion King" on Broadway) and Steve Schneider on hammered dulcimer.

Len Handler.
